Provide effective estimating and sales support service for our reseller network.
LOCATION
Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN and Albert Lea, MN
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
Reports to Sales Manager
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Ensure completeness, clarity, and accuracy of all quote / order specifications.
- Communicate discrepancies or issues.
- Ensure work schedules and deadlines are consistently met on a timely basis.
- Effectively responds to resellers and sales manager requests and inquiries on a timely basis.
- Achieves a work understanding of Alamco estimating systems and product lines with the ability to apply that knowledge in interactions with resellers on quote / order request.
- Demonstrates an understanding and working knowledge of CRM like systems to effectively track sales data.
- Ensures compliance on all company standards, policies, and practices as the apply to assignments.
- Analyzes and ensure all questions are answered when faced with new situations, issues, and unforeseen events.
- Demonstrate understanding and ensures accuracy of simple to moderate quotes/orders including pricing, acknowledgements, details, and amendments.
- Performs any other inside sales related assignments.
MEASURED BY
- Achieves accuracy and completeness on quote/order specifications and pricing.
- Achieves timely and effective supportive services to distributor and sales manager.
- Controls back charges, properly processes service request, and material orders.
- Achievement of increased sales volume, market share, profits from our resellers through communication on the best practices and accurate pricing.
SKILL LEVEL REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associates degree preferred but not required.
- 1-2 years’ experience in a customer service or inside sales role is required.
- Strong communication, people skills, and ability to multitask.
- Team player with the ability to work independently with a sense of urgency and ownership.
- Organized with good attention to detail.
- Must be comfortable with Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge and ability to read blueprints.
- Pervious estimating experience in the construction industry preferred but not required.
- Experience with CRM like systems preferred but not required.
SALARY
- Negotiable, based on experience.
